Nice stick, smooth smoke
This cigar has excellent construction, firm but not tight. It burned very well and the ash hung on nicely. Flavors are cedar and some spice, getting more intense toward the end. Medium body and full flavor, along with a great aroma. Reminded me of the Partagas 898, a favorite smoke.
Better than a Black Beauty
One of the better cigars from CAO and Im a CAO fan. Rich body from first to last, and plenty of complex taste. The fillers blend well. Creamy smoke and smooth taste, with a pretty long finish. The Black Bengal is a very relaxing smoke, not unlike the Gurkha Black Beauty. Head to head, Id take this one.
Peanut-goodness we both enjoy
A friend suggested these to my wife because she likes mild cigars that dont bite. I tried one and we both really like them, a rarity for us! The flavor is unique peanuts and warm bread, some leathery taste nearer the end. Plenty of flavor, just nothing harsh and no nasty kick in the pants. Something like the Macanudo Maduro, but richer.
Good looking and mellow
Great construction, beautiful wrapper. The cigar smells great before lighting and better after. I noticed lots of smooth mocha that was fairly sweet with some vanilla. I noticed some pepper as it went, but it never got really spicy. Medium bodied, medium flavor. The burn was good, with a touch up or two.
