OK, this is not a Padron Anniersario or Fuente Opus X but I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth and pleasant this Stick was for the Price. Construction was good, had to keep turning to ensure even burn and had to relight once or twice but for the Price, I’m impressed
Yep, Im a chick. And I love cigars. My dad smoked them and introduced me to them when I was in college....30 years ago. I love the 5 Vegas Series A Apostle because Im a Churchill kind of gal. After things calm down at night and my husband is in his big easy chair, we both light up our favorites. He prefers the 5 Vegas Classic because its really spicy. I like spice too but in small bits. The Apostle gives you time to really enjoy the nuances of the stick. You get all these delicious flavors slowly and it builds. For me, this is the only size in the A Series that goes full bodied and thats why I smoke them after dinner. Got the spins bad one night with some wine. Hugging the porcelain bus was a nightmare. The Apostle gives me oodles of chocolate and coffee. It just builds from an initial blast in the beginning to slowly getting more intense. I dont pay too much attention to the construction and things like that. My husband points that stuff out to me now and again, but Ive been smoking 5 Vegas for years and Ive never had one unravel, split, crack, get blocked or any other structural problems. So thats what I know about the construction. The last 2 is a carnival of flavors. I get cedar, earth, espresso, cocoa, nuts, and creaminess. I love the creaminess. I highly recommend this cigar...for guys too.
