Tatuaje Colecciones Del Rey Belicoso Sampler Description

The handsomely boxed Tatuaje Colecciones Del Rey Belicoso Sampler presents six notable, widely celebrated blends, most of which resulted from collaborations between Pete Johnson and Pepin Garcia. Each measuring in at 5.5 x 52, these complex, plump Belicosos will keep you coming back for more. Also, these short fatties make you look like a real badass while smoking them.

This quality sampler contains one each of the following cigars.

Tatuaje Havana VI

First up, we have the 93-rated Havana VI. The reddish oily leaf on this Nicaraguan puro is an Ecuador Habano that covers a hearty, aged Nicaraguan long-filler blend. This is a medium-bodied cigar with plenty of kick—enough to make some consider it more on the full side. Once lit, you’re in for a great draw and even burn. Kick back as you blow vast clouds of creamy smoke with flavors of leather, spice, wood, and pepper.

This stick gets its Havana name from Pete Johnson’s burning desire to produce Cubanesque cigars. The Roman numeral represents the six vitolas in which it comes. Light one up, close your eyes, and it’s almost like smoking the real thing.

Tatuaje Selección de Cazador

Next up in the Tatuaje Colecciones Del Rey Belicoso Sampler is the Selección de Cazador. This cigar is the result of a collaboration between Cuban master blender Pepin Garcia and Pete Johnson. The line is both the first Tatuaje blend and the first Pepin solely manufactured. Soon after its release, both Pepin and Tatuaje became high in demand. At the core of the medium to full-bodied Selección de Cazador, we find Cuban-seed tobaccos grown in rich Nicaraguan soil. The leaf is a feisty Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Rolled in Cuba's classic tradition, expect spice, cocoa, cedar, earth, and a long and creamy finish.

Tatuaje Cojonu 2006

In 2006, Pete and Pepin were cooking up something bold in the Tatuaje Cojonu 2006. The wrapper is a dark, sweet, and spicy oiled-up Ecuadorian Habano leaf. This covers the vintage Cuban seed tobaccos to produce a full-bodied cigar you do not want to miss. With this number, you’re getting cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, and a whole lotta spice. Have a nice meal first and pair this beast with your favorite libation. There’s only one in the Tatuaje Colecciones Del Rey Belicoso Sampler, so if you’re looking for an encore soon, plan accordingly.

Don Pepin García Cuban Classic

Next in the Tatuaje Colecciones Del Rey Belicoso Sampler is the 92-rated Don Pepin García Cuban Classic. Known as one of the most robust Pepin Garcia blends, this full-bodied cigar is ready to keep you on your toes. The Cuban Classic sports an oil-ridden Habano Rosado wrapper. This reddish-brown hue is enough to make your mouth water on its own. Underneath is potent Cuban-seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua. Once burning, this fat boy delivers a full-flavored experience of earth, leather, and almonds. Like the wrapper, the aroma here is tempting in and of itself. Named after the master blender himself, the Don Pepin García Cuban Classic is definitely not a beginner cigar.

Don Pepin García Series JJ

Like father, like son, especially in the Garcia family. Working side by side with his son JJ (Jaime), Pepin Garcia has created another Cubanesque show stopper in the Don Pepin García Series JJ. This medium-full cigar is draped in a Nicaraguan Rosado Corojo leaf that wraps up the Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo filler blend. This is one rich and spicy number that stays with you long after the final draw. Since the quantity is so limited, the Don Pepin García Series JJ is produced in Miami, so the Garcias can personally assure high quality and consistency.

Cabaiguan Belicoso Fino

Let’s close things out with something more on the mellow side, at least for a Pepin Garcia cigar. This one is dressed in a calm honey-brown Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. Deep within are some of the best Cuban-seed Nicaraguan fillers around. This triple-cap is mellow-medium and delivers a relaxing experience of espresso, dark chocolate, and some floral notes.

The Cabaiguan Belicoso Fino pairs well with a leisurely Saturday morning and your favorite coffee.

Please enjoy the Tatuaje Colecciones Del Rey Belicoso Sampler at your leisure.
