This cigar has been at the top of my list for several years. It draws very well, burns evenly, and makes a great ash. Flavor and consistency . Also price is not excessive.
The Partagas Fabuloso is a top 3 cigar for me. I go through a box every 2 months and the cigars are extremely consistent. Good Cuban-style flavor but with more spice than I get in most of the Cuban stogies I smoke. These are more in line with the Macanudo Vintage 2000 which also uses Mexican and Dominican fillers.
Had a Partagas Fabuloso cigar a few days ago at a poker game and enjoyed it immensely. The construction, burn and ash were all excellent. What really made this cigar shine is the flavors of nut bread with espresso and cream. It starts slightly sweet and grows more savory, tasting like a Padron 1926 Anniversary by the time it is done.
I’m a fan of the Partagas #10 but can’t always get them. The Partagas Fabuloso is similar in build, construction and flavor so I keep them on hand as a great backup. Their flavor is medium to full with nuts and leather being the primary tastes and a fair amount of spice sprinkled on. They burn evenly, have a nice draw and offer a soothing and tasty smoke.
I try any Cameroon wrapper I can get and this one rates right at the top with the Cusano 59 Rare Cameroon. The Partagas Fabuloso is full-flavored and quite complex. The body is light to medium so it’s not a heavy hitter which is one reason my girlfriend is also a fan. Draws great, burns great most of the time, and produces a lengthy white ash. You can’t go wrong here.
