This Padron 1926 Anniversary No.2 Maduro cigar is made in Nicaragua. Outside, you'll find a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper. Inside, the binder is Nicaraguan, and the filler is Nicaraguan. The 1926 Anniversary No.2 Maduro is a Full-Bodied Torpedo shaped cigar with a length of 5.50 and a ring gauge of 52.
Mild flavor and smoke draw was comparable to sucking on a straw. Cigar finished in about 35-40 mins, very disappointed in this cigar.
Nice oily wrapper on this cigar and the rich, full taste you’d expect. The Padron 1926 Anniversary No.2 Maduro is the quintessential maddy by which others should be judged. Lower the price and they’d be impossible to get hold of.
This cigar is made to enhance the good times and that it does. The rich coffee/leather/herbs/cayenne flavor of the Padron 1926 Anniversary No.2 Maduro is dynamic and delicious. The body is full-on. As a “great occasion” cigar it is the best.
I went through a sampler that had been in the humidor for 6 months. Four of the five were classics – the middle one of the group was off in terms of the burn and the flavor. The ash didn’t cling either so I suspect the problem was with the filler leaves. So, 4 close enough to perfect and 1 zero.
