My Father Super Trio Description

5 - My Father Flor de las Antillas Toro (2012 #1 Cigar of the Year) Rated 96
5 - My Father La Opulencia Toro (2018 #2 Cigar of the Year) Rated 95
5 - My Father Flor de las Antillas Belicoso (Rated 95 December 1st by Cigar Aficionado Magazine)

The My Father Super Trio lets you try two of the very best blends from My Father cigars: the Flor de Las Antillas and La Opulencia.

Flor de Las Antillas (“Flower of the Antilles,” another name for Cuba) was Cigar Aficionado’s 2012 Cigar of the Year, sporting an insane 96-point rating. Like many of the blends from My Father, it’s a Nicaraguan puro sporting an impeccable sun-grown wrapper. The flavors are subtle, intriguing, and fully satisfying from end to end. You’ll get perfectly balanced white pepper, hints of baking spice, and medium-full strength that stops just shy of overpowering.

If you’re hunting for the ultimate Nicaraguan cigar, Flor de Las Antillas has to be one of your finalists. Even years later, it’s still a showstopper. You’ll get 5 toros and 5 belicosos of this blend, and somehow, it’ll still seem like you didn’t get enough sticks.

To follow it up in the My Father Super Trio, you can start in on La Opulencia, which very nearly took top cigar honors in 2018. Coming in at #2 that year with a 95-point rating from Cigar Aficionado, this blend from Don Pepin and Jaime Garcia shows that they know how to blend tobacco even if it’s not Nicaraguan. Of course, La Opulencia starts with Nicaraguan Habano seed long-fillers. It then progresses into a double binder of Criollo and Corojo, and is finished with a ravishing Mexican San Andrés Rosado Oscuro wrapper (the first Mexican wrapper we’ve seen on a My Father cigar).

La Opulencia is a complicated lady, and you get five of her in the toro size.

The flavors of the My Father La Opulencia are built on a foundation of earthy cocoa, woody mid notes of oak, and the sweetness of nougat and anise on the finish. It’s love at first puff. And unbelievably, this cigar just gets better and better as you go along.

We honestly don’t know how they do it. My Father cigars are just magic. The My Father Super Trio lets you taste some of the very best.

Please enjoy the My Father Super Trio at your leisure.
