Big sophistication

Review by Robert C on September 15, 2011

The CAO Brazilia Anaconda offers the connoisseur a lot to think about with changing phases throughout the smoke. It ranges from dark and nutty to crisp and zesty with some sweet hints. The rich smoke is very aromatic. This oversized perfecto has minor wrapper issues in 2-3 cigars per box. Not surprising given the size and shape.

Two cigars in one

Review by chris stover on July 26, 2011

The CAO Brazilia Anaconda is a great cigar to gift your big-time stogie friends. It’s big enough to be something of a novelty but it’s actually a very tasty cigar. The box I have is very consistent – peppery notes to start, with a mellowing along the way. I note some leather, raisins, hay and cedar. The first third to half reminds me of a Fonseca Matasa 30th Anniversary and the rest of it tastes like an RYJ Reserve Real. Not a bad combo.

Best Big Smoke I’ve Had

Review by Sergio J on July 18, 2011

Fairly mild flavor, though not bland. Toasted peanuts and oak, with spice that gradually grows but never becomes heavy. It is smooth and creamy to the end. The couple of CAO Brazilia Anaconda cigars I’ve smoked had no construction issues whatsoever – rare for a cigar with this size and shape. The Flor de Oliva Giants 1066 I smoke often need touching up. Not these.

Complex Character

Review by Eric S. on June 24, 2011

The unique flavor of the Brazilia line shows up big-time in the CAO Brazilia Anaconda. It’s not exactly “exotic,” just very complex and rich. It starts with the taste of fresh herbs, dry and slightly bitter, and then smooths out and brightens up into a creamy cup of lightly sweetened mocha stirred with a stick of anise. Comparisons in flavor to the Cusano 18 Paired Maduro are fair though this is a better cigar. Good construction and a crisp burn line complete a great package.
