The CAO America line of incredible cigars offers the novice and the veteran a tasty blend they will both return to again and again. This is another double-wrapper introduction from CAO, featuring 2 leaves born and bred in the U.S.A. Fresh flavor, good smoke

Review by big red on January 10, 2012

Out of the wrapper this cigar exudes wonderful aroma of cut hay, fresh and sweet. Upon lighting it, the CAO America Monument offers more oak and roasted nuts like a 5 Vegas Classic cigar. The smoke is effusive and the ash holds together very well. I smoked this one to the nub and it never got hot or harsh.

Starts out tasty and gets even better

Review by Mike T on September 15, 2011

This cigar has a distinguished look you’ll love. The construction is firm but also boasts a fairly light draw. The taste of the CAO America Monument is very creamy in the beginning and becomes more complex and rich as it progresses. Like going from coffee to espresso, with a dash of spice.

Another winner from CAO

Review by Dean O on August 04, 2011

CAO Italia cigars are among my favorite so I was eager to try this one. The CAO America Potomac was as good as advertised, a solid smoke with much to enjoy. It’s fairly mild in flavor but I enjoyed the bready, nutty tastes each puff delivered. I was expecting more zing but it never developed. For me, that was okay. Not a bad imitation of an Ashton Aged Maduro.

A Pleasant Kick

Review by Edwin Rodriguez on July 05, 2011

Really nice burn to the CAO America Monument, with firm construction and good draw. One or two small wrapper flaws that did not affect smokability. As for taste, it is quite full and robust, beefy even. Not unlike a Tatuaje Miami. The Ligero seed tobacco adds plenty of kick if that’s your thing. I enjoyed it throughout.

Better than Expected

Review by Terry S. on June 29, 2011

I was told this cigar was just a gimmick so had low expectations. First few draws of the CAO America Monument were uneventful but then things changed for the better. The rest of this stick was delicious and creamy, with lots of toasted nuts and mild spice, similar to a Macanudo Maduro. Nice ash and good burn.

No gimmick, just a nice cigar

Review by Ed Vargas on January 10, 2011

This cigar is medium to full in flavor and body. I found it fairly complex as well. It starts out very smooth and remains consistent to the end, growing in strength in the last half as I expected. Coffee and oak, like a RYJ Reserve Maduro. More leather toward the end. The burn of the CAO America Monument is excellent.
