The pre light on this cigar is wonderful. I get baking spices and nuttiness. I can sit for minutes just smelling it. I clip the triple cap and you can see how sturdy the construction is. The delicately spicy flavor comes from a perfectly-balanced blend of 6 different Dominican-grown leaves covered in a flawless Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper. Its a sight to see. Balance is the key here. Too many cigars are out of balance with flavors getting all muddled instead of a gentle flow to my palate. The designers of this blend made sure that the variety of flavors meld together in an orderly fashion. The last half gets buttery and even more creamy. A combination of hazelnut and cashews helps out. I only smoke this Churchill when I have time to savor it. Its definitely a 2 hour cigar. I prefer to drink bottled water but if the evening is balmy, I will go out to the back yard patio, instead of my basement man cave, and watch the sun set smoking my XO and sipping a fine scotch. Either way, this is a stupendous cigar and I highly recommend it.
