Ashton CLASSIC Magnum
The Ashton Magnum is a beautifully tailored cigar at 5.0 inches with a ring gauge of 50. This premium cigar is available in 25-count boxes that offer up a splendid supply of truly fine smokes. Aged for years before being made available, they are ready for your enjoyment right out of the box. Time in the humidor will only deepen their bountiful complexity, however, so your patience and willpower in leaving a few for the years to come will be richly rewarded. The Ashton Classic series proves that a mild cigar can deliver flavor that is just as multifaceted as that of a strong stick, and cigar lovers from novices to seasoned veterans are finding a stogie they mutually enjoy. The delicious blend of top-quality tobaccos hits all the right notes, including creamy, citrus highlights punctuated by pleasant volleys of sugar and spice. The handsome Connecticut shade wrapper produces an impeccably dressed cigar you’ll enjoy by itself or with a favorite beverage, and by yourself, or with favorite friends.

Ive tried all of the Ashton blends. The upscale ones are nice for a treat. But I wanted a premium stick that I could have daily. My schedule is hectic, even when Im at home. The robusto Cabinet works for me. I like that it hits its stride right away. I get some pepper and cream immediately. There are also notes of nuts and leather. By the halfway point, the creaminess pours through to my taste buds. There are notes of cocoa and coffee towards the end. Ive got a bunch of kids and I just cant sit down for an hour. Someone is always yelling Daddy! So the cigar goes back to the ashtray and I return 4-15 minutes later. Most of the time, the cigar does not require a relight. The consistency of Ashton is what keeps me coming back. There is no such thing as a bad Ashton. The wrapper never cracks, the construction is perfect, the burn is always dead even. One thing I make sure of is that Cigars Direct sends me a box every month. Its auto shipped so I dont have to give it a thought.
