The bargains available in really good smokes means you can fit these into your rotation and feel good about it. 1. Flor de Las Antillas Toro Let’s start with a bang – the 2012 #1 cigar! The rating? 96! The cost? Less than $7 at current prices. We’ve got a good supply of these 6x52 beauties for now. The strength comes from a blend of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos in a lovely sun-grown wrapper. 2. Arturo Fuente Chateau Series Queen B Sun Grown Belicoso A delicious smoke at right about $6, it is also beautifully presented and makes a very nice gift or hand-out cigar. You’ll enjoy notes of spice, coffee, and nuts from the Dominican fillers and the dark and reddish Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper. 3. Oliva Serie V Double Robusto Tubo Just over $8 per cigar is a very nice price for this 92-rated stick that smokes like a champ. You’ll enjoy notes of espresso, dark chocolate and spiced nuts from the Jalapa Valley Ligero tobaccos that have been specially fermented. The high-priming Habano sun-grown wrapper is the perfect final touch. 4. Punch Rare Corojo Double Corona This is another 90-rated stick that is full of flavor with plenty of strength too. Havana-seed fillers from the DR combine with additional tobacco from Nicaragua and Honduras produce the power. The dark and oily Corojo wrapper looks, smells, feels and smokes great. It’s about $7 per stick at current prices.
