Mine or Edwin's?
I love the 1964 Anniversary Series from the legendary Padron family...and so does Edwin (my partner here at Cigars Direct).
Lately we've been OBSESSED with the Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series Piramide sticks...but they have also been leading to a lot of "friendly" debates between the two of us.
I wanted to ONLY pick the Piramide Maduro as this week's cigar but he FLIPPED out on me (seriously)! Which is why...
...Juan's Cigar of the Week is the Padron 1964 Anniversary Series Piramide!
****I'm going to put my preferences to the side for a minute so I can give you a real rundown of these sticks****
6.90 inches long with a 52 ring gauge, all the tobacco used in this limited production cigar is sun-grown AND aged for 4 years...which creates a smooth and complex flavor.
In the words of Cigar Aficionado (when they gave it a 91 rating!):
"It loads the palate with nutty, woody and leathery flavors that grow increasingly intense and rich."
