Perfected since 1904 BUT virtually unknown here in the United States...

My buddy Diego is a real-estate magnate here on the west coast of Florida. When I drive around town with him, he points out all of his buildings. I feel like he owns half of Tampa. (To be brutally honest, it can get a bit annoying after awhile.)

Diego also fancies himself a "cigar expert" (his words, not mine). The only thing that he likes showing off more than all of his properties, is his cigar collection.

As you can imagine, Diego's "pride" can get on my nerves from time-to-time :) So it gave me great pleasure to stump him the other day.

We were walking through his humidor and I asked him, "Where are your Balmorals?"

**BLANK STARE**

It turns out, he had never even heard of the Balmoral brand (**evil grin for Juan**)

And I know he's not alone, even some of the most die-hard cigar smokers I know don't either. Let's change that, shall we?

Juan's Badass Cigar of the Week is the Balmoral Royal Selection Anejo 18 Rothschild Masivo!
Now you might be thinking (like Diego was), "Why haven't I heard of this Juan?" Good question! Let me give you a quick rundown:

The Balmoral Royal Selection AƱejo 18 is a line of cigars made by Royal Agio Cigars, a company based in the Netherlands. A company that has been around since 1904 but not in the US...Royal Agio recently got together with the folks at Drew Estate to handle their US distribution and rollout.

Make sense?

This Anejo 18 is one of my favorite cigars and not just because I'm a big fan of it's American "cousin" the Liga Privada No. 9...it's a great maduro cigar that you can smoke at anytime and won't overpower you.

Ready to try it out for yourself? Here's your chance:

As always with the Badass Cigar of the Week, I'd love for you to do one of two things:
