The Miami 8 & 11 blend was created by none other than Don Pepin Garcia. It is manufactured at the El Rey de Los Habanos factory in Miami, Florida and is named after the location of the factory, which is near the corner of 8th Street and 11th Avenue. It is a full-strength cigar featuring a Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, a Nicaraguan Criollo binder and a blend of Nicaraguan Criollo and Corojo fillers. The Miami is a cigar that feels and tastes like a true Cuban, and it has received ratings to support the claim. Not only did it receive a 92 rating from Cigar Aficionado magazine, but the Robusto was named 13th top-rated cigar of 2005 by the same magazine. Cigar Aficionado couldn’t have said it any better: “…a full-bodied masterpiece.”
