Cigar Review: Yes, the Padron 3000 Maduro is an inexpensive cigar. It’s also a one-trick pony in my opinion with decent flavor that lacks much depth. In this price range I prefer the Cusano Factory Selects which have more intriguing complexity.

Cigar Review: The maduro wrapper on the 3000 is no beauty. I thought it would fall apart. It didn’t, and it tasted very good. The cigar is robust and tasty with toasted pecans and gently spiced oak. Oh, there’s sweeter hints too. This is a smooth and tasty smoke that I compare to the Hoyo de Monterrey maduro with slightly less spice. So tasty!

Cigar Review: It never ceases to amaze me that some cigars are way overrated/priced and others are underrated and downright cheap. The Padron 3000 Maduro is one of the latter – a tremendous value at $5 per stick. They are full of great flavor and smoke like winners – every one of them.

Cigar Review: This was the first cigar that motivated me to buy an entire box. Now a few boxes later, they are still a go-to favorite in my rotation. The taste and smoking characteristics are as good as many cigars that cost twice as much. And at this price they are simply unbeatable.
